United Nations Country Control Game
#49
you expect 100 first class seats to fill up? I laugh at that. 350 economy is too little for a 700 seat plane

Our X-33s have these specs:

-550 passengers or cargo for up to 200,000 KG with large boosters, or 125,000 KG with small boosters
-Engines can be rearranged to fit up to 5 conventional fuel rockets for slower, short distance hops, or 3 ion engines for interplanetary distances of more than 50+ million miles, or can hold a brand new technology, the RX-1, a trans-system propulsion that can travel 95% of the speed of light.
-A special shield of sorts, able to create a rift in front of the spacecraft to push meteorites up to half a mile in diameter and has a navigational autopilot system that can find the best path and fly through an asteroid field.
-IST does not handle any defense systems, but has put in slot throughout the ship in order to add your own.
-The ship is large enough to descend into the atmosphere at 1g and be able to land vertically for limited space and exploration. Completely VTOL if needed.

AB5-1
-127 passengers and cargo for up to 70,000 KG
-Engines are brand new ABE1s that switch from Jet Engines, to Rockets with a click of a button, it can also be configured to be a Ion Engine. With a full load, it can travel at 97% Light Speed
-Made of a new kind of Material we have secretly developed called "cranium composites" that are the lightest, strongest material on earth.
-The AB5-1 has a laser designed to clear a path through asteroids. It can also be programmed as a weapon.
-The ship is large enough to descend into the atmosphere at 1g and be able to land vertically for limited space and exploration. Completely VTOL if needed.
-Same cockpit technology as AB10 with some updates

The same for AB5-2(330 passengers and cargo for up to 130,000 KG)
The same for AB5-2(462 passengers and cargo for up to 210,000 KG)

All cockpits are the same.

Agreed if you agree to our tax rate. Also your employees on base are subject to follow the laws of the Solomon Islands and must respect our traffic and road regulations as well. Solomon Islands National Police must have an office in your base to assist your military police in any way requested.

The Solomon Islands builds bridges connecting all Islands, and improves airport and other infrastructure. We have designed a material strong enough to withstand intense sun rays and heat, and have built a base in orbit exceptionally close to the surface of the sun.

Also we are looking for a contract for large aircraft of 500+ passengers to fly to/from our planet Gliese 581g and would like the order split between passenger and cargo aircraft.

In other news the Solomon Islands recognizes that Mars is a nation. We respect the nation and ask to set up a diplomatic base on mars, and help Mars co-ordinate missions in any way possible. We would also like to partake in the mission to Saturn and Jupiter if possible.
agreed. We are also no longer allies with Canada.

Sounds like a great ship. I would like to order 50 of them with 550 options. Based on the performance the options may be converted to firm orders in the near future. The Solomon Islands looks forward to continuing to do business with you.

This sounds like a great series of ships. The Solomon Islands would like to order 150 AB5-1s and 150 options, 20 AB5-2 and 80 options as well as 200 AB5-3 and 300 options. We appreciate doing business with you.

Also: Argentina, your base is approved.

Okay, they will be delivered as soon as possible

If you do not ally with Canada, Mars will send back your crew from the Jupiter and Saturn missions. You will be denied access to those planets until alliance is continued or until Canada lets you. If you still do not wish to ally with Canada, Mars will switch out the crews so that Canada can claim Saturn completely while Mars gets Jupiter.

Even through all this, Mars still wishes to be allies with both the Solomon Islands and Canada.

Solomon Islands ups defense and builds additional landing ports and takeoff ports. We sign a treaty with Ecuador giving the Solomon Islands voting power, and we pledge defense to the Ecuadorians. An unspecified number of military bases and spaceports are built in Ecuador. Also SINP arrests a large global ring of technology smugglers. Solomon Islands increases funding for SISA.

Thanks to our joint mission with Mars we are very pleased to have discovered a new substance. We are as yet unsure what is is, or how it can be used however our physicists are working around the clock figuring it out. It appears unbreakable and non-penetrable thus-far. As more information comes available we will release our findings to our allies on the joint mission, namely Mars and Canada.

Airbus340; we would like to purchase a follow up order of 15 additional AB10's due to the better than expected performance Smile

What is in it for the Solomon Islands? We are always open to negotiations, however we do expect that with negotiations we can work out a deal that works for both of us. Also I notice you are not an ally of Canada. I however consider myself a friend of Canada and am afterall a large customer of Canada and fly the products they produce. Would this potentially produce problems further down the road? We can work out a pact, however details must first be worked over.
We are pleased to be allies with you Mars.

The Solomon Islands is currently sending the preliminary results to our Allies in Mars and Canada for the new incredibly tough and durable substance we have named substance X.
